The Bruce Peninsula is also home to many species of birds and a stop off place in their migrations in the spring and fall. Wildlife is abundant here. Chipmunks, squirrels, porcupines, deer, rabbits and raccoon sightings are common. Black bears, fox, fishers, and martins are here but seen less often. Bears are strongly attracted by food and garbage so precautions should be taken in storing food and disposing of garbage. Though the population of these snakes is endangered and the sightings few, care should be taken when exploring the rocky areas of the Bruce Peninsula. CLICK HERE FOR THE RATTLESNAKE FACTS

Come join us and enjoy the amenities your campground has to offer. View a spectacular Lake Huron sunset. In the evening as you sit by your campfire, you can step back, look up and enjoy some of the best stargazing Ontario has to offer due to The Dark Sky Initiative (shielding artificial light to minimize light trespass on our night skies).
On the Bruce Peninsula there are memories to last a lifetime. It is a place you'll want to return to often.
