How about snowshoeing to the
Grotto in winter?

Spring
Fall
Winter
  • Fall Colors
  • Bruce Trail Festival (Sept Oct)
  • Bug-free Hiking
  • Salmon Spawning
  • Experience Our Dark Skies
Fall - Enjoy the fall colours, take quiet walks in the woods or along the Bruce Trail. There is very little traffic at this time of year... it is easy to find your own space. Meander down country roads exploring the hidden treasures of this area. Experience home cooking at unique restaurants - Return to your Bed and Breakfast and find the comfort of a cosy home, some with fireplaces, a hot cup of tea, coffee or cocoa. Curl up in a comfortable chair with a good book, or just enjoy the peace and quiet.

Winter - When the snow flies and blankets the ground the Bruce Peninsula is transformed into a fairy winter land. Come experience the winter on the Bruce Peninsula. If you have seen us in the summer or fall, the winter transforms us into a wonderland of white glistening, crunching snow.  Come and experience the Bruce Peninsula National Park at this time.  The rocks have been smoothed out by a blanket of snow.  Snowshoe or cross-country ski to some of your favourite summer places or enjoy the many trails provided for you. For those who are adventurous - blaze your own trail, just as the explorers of this great vast country once did.

Spring - In the spring watch the Bruce Peninsula come alive again after her winter's sleep.  Come see our first signs of spring - the marsh marigolds boom,
enjoy our Orchid Festival (the Bruce Peninsula is home to 44 varieties of
orchids).  Welcome back the many birds as they travel north, some of
them stay on the Bruce Peninsula - such as the Sandhill Cranes.  Did you know
that the Bruce Peninsula is a major fly path for hawks and other birds of prey?
