THE BRUCE PENINSULA SOCIETY OF ARTISTS (BPSA)

The BPSA was formed in 1997 by a group of local artists who wanted to create a place for artists of all sorts to come together and share their interest in art. Since then, the BPSA has gathered under its umbrella organization other arts groups so that all can share in the costs and business of making art available to the public. The BPSA meets each month on the third Wednesday in Lion’s Head, where the program includes a variety of subjects such as talks on various media, films

about art and artists, demonstrations of various art techniques, life drawing, guest artists and other activities. Their newsletter, Brush Strokes, lists information on exhibits, articles on art and artists, reports from affiliated art groups, and accomplishments of the members. Presently there are over 60 members. For more information contact the BPSA Liaison – Lin Souliere at soulart@bmts.com, or call 529-793-4758.
