Hanover Churches and Homes ALLAN SIMPSON Summer Blues at Colpoy Bay Voyage à Gaspé Allan Simpson explores self-expression through acrylics and oils on canvas.  Born in Hamilton, he has lived and taught in Hanover since 1968.  Holding a B.A., B. Ed. and Degré Supérieur, he taught French and French immersion in Hanover. His love and affinity for the lakes and woods of this more northerly region of Ontario are reflected in his art. Happily retired, he has devoted more time to his interest in stained glass works and painting. He draws on local architecture and landscapes in the Bruce, Grey county, and the Muskoka. His experiences abroad have inspired other works, more exotic and transcendental. He works from his home and can be contacted at 364-5171. He is involved with the Bruce Grey Film Society and volunteer work at the Durham Art Gallery.
